Outpatient health services (primary care)

Mosaic Care Center provides comprehensive, patient-centered medical care for community members in a convenient, non-hospital setting. On-site laboratory

Unlike most other medical facilities, Mosaic Care Center offers on-site laboratory work with the ability to draw blood at the time of your appointment, saving you the time and energy of running to a second location for your lab work.

Mental health services

We offer comprehensive mental health care, including counseling and support, designed to help you manage your emotional well-being and navigate life's challenges. Our mental health therapist is open for appointments and accepts most forms of insurance including Medicare/Medicaid.

LGBTQ affirming care (including HRT)

Mosaic Care Center provides supportive, expert healthcare tailored to the needs of the LGBTQ community. Our all-women led clinical team attends regular training to keep up to date on LGBTQ/Transgender healthcare and cultural competency. Mosaic is also your local resource for gender-affirming hormone therapy (HRT), meaning no more long drives to Richmond or D.C. for your health needs.

PreP

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is a groundbreaking HIV prevention strategy that empowers individuals to take control of their sexual health by significantly reducing their risk of HIV infection. By taking a daily pill or receiving periodic injections, PrEP offers peace of mind and freedom to those at higher risk of HIV exposure, allowing them to protect themselves and their partners while maintaining a fulfilling life.

PEP and DoxyPEP

Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) and Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (DoxyPEP) are crucial emergency interventions for individuals who may have been exposed to HIV or certain STIs, respectively. PEP can prevent HIV infection if taken within 72 hours of potential exposure, while DoxyPEP offers protection against bacterial STIs like chlamydia, syphilis, and gonorrhea, both serving as vital tools in our comprehensive approach to sexual health and HIV prevention.

340B mail order pharmacy

Mosaic Care Center provides access to a mail order pharmacy program, ensuring affordable access to PrEP and STI medications and helping reduce barriers to care for individuals at risk 340B leverages federal drug pricing discounts to make certain medications more accessible and affordable for our community. Eligible individuals can receive medications at significantly reduced costs, ensuring that financial barriers don't stand in the way of effective care while also allowing us to reinvest savings into additional community services.
